3DIC-Verification

XSim-PAK simulates thermal and mechanical distributions in parallel. We verify the accuracy of XSim-PAK using Ansys, a well-known FEA tool. To ensure correctness and accuracy, we select a set of 12 models with carefully designed complexity so that Ansys can produce reliable results.

We compare the results of XSim-PAK with those of Ansys for these 12 models. The deviations for each model are approximately 3/1000. A closer examination of these errors reveals that they primarily stem from result interpolation within an element.
